Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement

This will include information about how the quality of our business and day-to-day activities are assured by independent verifying and awarding body(s).  As part of our Quality Improvement Programme for the next five years, Positive Options has recently achieved the Investor in Excellence (IiE) Standard and has been awarded the prestigious 'Investor in Excellence Award'. Further information about the IiE Standard and our level of compliance and future quality assurance and improvement activities will be outlined here.

Product Accreditation

This will include information about how the quality of our products is assured and then accredited by an independent body.  Presently our MAPA® physical interventions training product is accredited by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD).  At the time of this statement being provided, Positive Options is 1 of 24 physical intervention training providers that are accredited under the BILD Physical Interventions Accreditation Scheme (BILD PIAS).

The BILD PIAS is currently the only recognised accreditation scheme in the UK and is recognised nationally by Government and professional bodies associated with the provision of health care, social care and special education.

More information about BILD, it's work and the Physical Interventions Accreditation Scheme can be found by clicking here or visiting the BILD tab on our website.

Please visit this section of our website again in the near future for more information.
