Professional Experience
 
Chris has a Masters degree and is qualified as a registered nurse and teacher. He has spent the past 20 years working with a wide range of people described as having severe learning disabilities and mental health needs (including children, young people and adults). Chris  has extensive experience in the use of constructional behavior therapy and gentle teaching. Chris previously worked for Special Needs Housing Association as a Service Manager for the development and management of community based services for people with mental health needs and learning disabilities that challenge. Chris has previously worked in a consultancy capacity for the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) and is currently a panel member of the MInistry of Justice Youth Justic Board Restraint Accreditation Panel for the Children's Secure Estate.
